Hi folks!

Wow, what a year it’s been and—oh, it’s only February?

Well! Last month, we asked for your questions, guesses, and wildest hopes for our next project—and you did not disappoint!

A huge thank you to everyone who wrote in! Some of you even guessed exactly what we’re working on (though, of course, we’re keeping those names under wraps). And the pet pictures? Absolutely adorable!

But let’s get to the real reason you’re here—the questions. Let’s dive in and answer some!

Your Questions, Answered Is it going to be set in the Stray Gods Universe? This project is a whole new adventure set in its own world. We’re leaving Stray Gods on the shelf for now - but not necessarily forever. Will there be romance? There are no romances or romance mechanics in this project...that said, we will never give up on yearning. There will always be yearning. Will there be a character creator? Like Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical, our next game will feature a pre-defined character. We can’t wait for you to meet him!

What have you had the most fun doing on the new game? ‘Staring into the abyss and waiting for it to stare back’ ‘Our little movie days in the office where we would watch something thematic and eat cinema snacks!‘ ‘Exploring darker visuals has been really fun!’ ‘Exploring something new, and falling in love with a new type of game as a result!’ ‘Opening the door to my torturous psyche that I haven't opened since highschool :)’ ‘Finally understanding Ben’s fascination with emo’ What is the new project? We can’t quite confirm everything just yet...but safe to say a few of you are right on the money! When can we start pre-ordering/wishlisting? Sooner than you might think! Keep your eyes peeled.
