Malys almost two months on!

We are STILL at 100% positive on Steam and just launched our latest update!

Hi folks!

It’s been a while - we’ve had our heads down focusing on dev, but we thought we’d bring you an absolute BUMPER update on what’s been happening over here at Summerfall.

Unlike this fella, we’re doing great!

Last week, we released our latest update for Malys, our exorcism roguelike deckbuilder. This is our second major update to Malys, and included a massive change to regions (now instead of the one long region for deckbuilding purposes, we’ve set up the intended region structure and two regions are implemented in game). We’ve had a bunch of new cards, new demons, new visual effects and more go in over these two updates so if you haven’t yet had a chance to play - now’s the time - for only $9.99 USD!

Now with FIVE map nodes!

It’s been really important to us to hear from all of you along the way, so we’ve been writing devlogs detailing exactly what our players are telling us. The latest just went live and you can read it here.

Happy Birthday Stray Gods!

You might’ve also seen us hanging out on socials - on the 10th we celebrated TWO WHOLE YEARS since Stray Gods released, which is completely wild to think about. We’re still so proud of Stray Gods and have so much love for it, and it’s been so nice to see players receive Malys with as much love, care, and attention.

For a lot of those Stray Gods fans, we know it can be daunting to pick up a roguelite deckbuilder, so we’ve been working on a Codex to let you get up close and personal with card effects, abilities, and behaviours. That way, if you need a refresher or aren’t sure the details of what an enemy can do, you can check it out here. We’d love to see you give it a go and hear how you enjoy the game!

Tooltips in-game.

We’ve got a lot of exciting things planned for later this year, but for now it’s focusing on hearing from you about what you’d like to see the most. If you’ve picked up the game, please do consider leaving a review, telling a friend, and submitting any feedback - good or bad! We keep all the lovely feedback we receive in a giant spreadsheet for those days where the team needs a pick me up, so know it does not go unheard!

Salt well,

Love, Summerfall
