Hello from Summerfall!
Who are we? Why are we in your inbox? Let's chat!
Hi folks!
It’s been a minute since you’ve heard from us here at Summerfall, so we wanted to catch you up on some things, say hi for 2024, and reintroduce ourselves.
So…who are we again?

Summerfall Studios at the Australian Game Developer Awards 2023
Summerfall Studios is an indie game studio based in Melbourne, Australia. We were founded in 2019 by David Gaider, BioWare veteran of 17 years who was writer on some of the most genre-defining roleplaying games, Liam Esler, an experienced producer, writer, and creative, as well as Elie Young, who brought with them decades of experience in the music industry.
We love narrative and character-driven experiences and released our very first game, Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical, in August of last year.
…Stray Gods? Stray Gods!
If you haven’t checked out our first release you can watch the trailer above or find out more here! If you’ve played it and loved it - thank you, we so appreciate it and every nice comment and review means the world to us.
What’s next?
Oh! Have we not said?

Tee hee
We are actively working on some things, but nothing we can talk about just yet. We will, however, be keeping you posted in these newsletters when we have news to share! If you prefer to get your Summerfall scoop some other way and would like to unsubscribe, please see the conveniently positioned button below. You can always find us on X/Twitter, TikTok and Facebook!
Thanks for reading and we’ll see you next time!

Summerfall Shoutouts
Our fine friends over at League of Geeks recently released the excellent and moody Solium Infernum, a hellish turn-based strategy game absolutely dripping with style. It’s already receiving high praise for its gameplay and atmosphere so give it a look in!
Media we’ve been loving
‘I absolutely cannot stop listening to Chappell Roan’s The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess. Something about ‘Pink Pony Club’ saved my life in December and I haven’t stopped listening since’
