Happy Holidays from Summerfall!

Hey folks!

The holiday season is upon us and it’s got us looking back at the HUGE year it’s been.

But first, where can you find us?

The keener eyed amongst you may have noticed us go quiet on a few of our social media accounts.

As always, the newsletter (this one!) is the best place to stay up to date on all things Summerfall. Otherwise, you can find us predominantly on TikTok, Bluesky, Threads and Instagram. If you need to contact us please email [email protected]. However, we will be taking a break from the 20th Dec until the 7th of January. Now back to 2024…

Back in April we sent Elie to the BAFTAs where Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical was nominated for Debut Game. While we didn’t take home the coveted strange golden man’s head, we had an incredible time and are told the dessert was to die for!

Speaking of bucket-list level nominations, Liam was stoked to represent Summerfall at the Grammys where the music team were nominated for Best Score Soundtrack for Video Games and Other Interactive Media. We’re still recovering from the nomination and Liam is still recovering from being two bodies away from Boy Genius, in the same room as Beyonce, Taylor Swift AND Celine Dion, and bearing witness to Meryl Streep groove to Travis Scott.

In June, we released our DLC Stray Gods: Orpheus, starring broadway’s Anthony Rapp as the titular Orpheus and Erika Ishii (Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Apex Legends) as his godly guide for all things mortal, Hermes.

In August we celebrated Stray Gods’ first birthday! What an incredible year for a game and a team we are endlessly proud of. We had a little celebration week which included rounding up and sharing some fun statistics from our first year.

What’s next?

And lastly, a rogue hint of things yet to pass. We’ve had a demon of an idea and while you might think that we’re possessed, we PROMISE to exorcise you of any doubts.

Perhaps not quite what you expect, but we’ve stacked the deck with things we think you’ll love. We’re keeping our cards close to our chest for now, but when we can say more, we’ll unleash hell right here in the newsletter.
