What Happens If Malys Doesn't Fund?

As we discussed in an update yesterday, Malys will still come out if we don't reach our funding goal. We're not spending a lot of time focusing on this outcome right now but rest assured we have plans and ideas and will absolutely be communicating them to all of you kind folk if it comes to that.

But! We're still hopeful - someone's gotta have a roguelite deckbuilder enthusiast rich uncle who loved Dragon Age and The Exorcist out there somewhere?

In any case, as usual your help spreading the word is the most helpful thing you can do after backing. We have trailers, clips, bad jokes and even streams you can share far and wide!

If you've been hankering for a look at some Malys gameplay we're got an exclusive look from Jordan Ramée at Gamespot that you might've seen in yesterday's update!

David and our Marketing Coordinator Katy sat down with Deven McClure from Screen Rant where they talked about ways into the genre - particularly from those who are a bit resistant. 

Anthony Franklin II, self described 'Roguelike King' dicussed how Malys could be 'the next great roguelike' in their article on VICE.

David spoke to Austin Wood for Games Radar about the challenges we're facing at Summerfall, about Malys, and about the kind of RPG we'd make if we could (and we'd like to one day!).
